Speakers Agenda
Firoozeh Flow
Your Factory Can Ramp Only as Fast as Your Operators Can Qualify
Slow operator ramp-up is a major driver of first-year scrap at gigafactory scale, yet training is usually an afterthought. Firoozeh Flow turns battery cell manufacturing know-how into intuitive, UX-inspired training for new operators to learn the process from zero. Written standard work and SOPs, first-person POV video, and learning guides built on each customer’s own machines. We’ll show how professional instructional design shortens the path from first day to qualified operator.
Henkel AG & Co. KGaA
Cooler Batteries – Better EVs
My keynote will shed light on how thermal management of battery packs is crucial and if not optimised can lead to bottlenecks in performance. It will show how Henkel can support as a trusted and reliable partner and how our know how and deep technological expertise can help design better battery packs. Thereby enabling better performing EVs.
Mercedes-Benz Energy
Stationary energy storage built from vehicle cells and batteries
Mercedes-Benz Energy GmbH, a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG, has been developing stationary energy storage systems based on automotive battery modules since 2016. Vehicle batteries are repurposed as stationary storage — extending their useful life and delaying recycling — in scalable systems for commercial and industrial sites, available either as in-house installations or as containerised Battery Energy Storage Systems.

ULT AG
Clean and dry air for battery cell production
ULT AG is a family-run German manufacturer of extraction, filtration and process air drying systems, based in Löbau, Saxony. Battery cell production is one of its core industries: electrode coating and drying, laser welding and electrolyte filling all release airborne particulates, solvent vapours or moisture that have to be removed for the process to stay in spec. ULT builds both standard and customer-specific systems for those requirements.
